Introduction: CPS Starches Co.,Ltd., a subsidiary of Chai Prasit Products Co.,Ltd., has been in the starch manufacturing business since 1984.It focused on making high quality native tapioca starch, rice flour and modified starch.The range of products include native tapioca starch, oxidized starch, acid modified starch, acetylated starch, cationic starch, cross linked starch, pregelatinized starch etc.

Chai Prasit Products Co.,ltd. (CPS) was founded by Mr.Pisit Viriyaroj, the current Chairman, since 40 years ago as a rice miller in Sisaket, a province in the northeastern part of Thailand. Focusing on agro-industry, the group expands into other agricultural products such as tapioca starches, tapioca pellets, bean, rice flour etc.

CPS, now a day, is a vertically integrated company. The company works closely with farmers to ensure high quality raw materials, which will be processed by the company 's fully owned production facilities. CPS maintains excellent product quality and keeps itself ahead of the competition through its technological, product and process expertise.

PRODUCTS
RICE
CPS 's two rice mills (one in Ayuddhaya, the ancient capital of Thailand and the other in Sisaket) have a combined rice processing capacity of 1,000 MT per day. CPS 's rice products are processed with full-fledge equipment including color sorting machine, water polishing machine, destoner, drying silo etc. The products are tested with delicated equipments including Amylose content analyzer, moisture tester etc. The company proceeds a wide varieties of rice including, Jasmine fragrant rice, fragrant glutinous rice, black glutinous rice, parboiled sortexed rice, long grain rice etc. Jasmine fragrant rice (Mail 105) is considered to be the best fragrant rice variety in Thailand. Rice is the main staple food for Thai people since the start of the Thai culture. In the past, rice was grown as food for consumption in the family. Thai people believed that there was a goddess of rice called "Mae Posop" who sacrificed herself to feed human being. They,therefore, had to respect rice and behave properly in every step of the plantation of rice.
OTHER GRAINS
The company owns a 50 MT per hour drying and storage silo in Ayuddhaya which proceed corn, sorghum, various kinds of beans and other agricultural produces.
TAPIOCA PRODUCTS
The company handles a wide ranges of tapioca related products including tapioca chips and pellets. The palletizing capacity is 400 MT per day.
